These terms and conditions\napply to visitor registrations for, and attendance at, Beauty Ingredients &\nFormulation Asia (the \u201cEvent\u201d) organised by Cosmoprof Asia Ltd (referred to as\n\u201cthe Organiser\u201d), a joint-venture between Fiere Internazionali di Bologna \u2013\nBolognaFiere S.p.A. and Informa Markets Asia Limited.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>

As a potential visitor to\nthe Event (referred to as \u201cyou\/your\u201d), please read these terms and conditions\ncarefully as they contain important information.  By submitting your\nregistration and\/or by attending the Event, you agree to be bound by these terms\nand conditions.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>

1.   \n<\/span><\/span>Your registration (where submitted directly by you or on\nyour behalf) constitutes an offer by you to The Organiser to attend the Event\nin accordance with these terms and conditions.  All registrations are\nsubject to acceptance by The Organiser.  If your registration is received\nin advance of the Event, it will either: (a) be confirmed in writing\n(including, without limitation, by email), or (b) if written confirmation is\nnot sent within fourteen (14) days of us receiving your registration, be deemed\nto be confirmed unless we notify you otherwise.  If your registration is\nreceived only at the Event itself, it will be confirmed by the act of The Organiser\npermitting you entrance to the Event.  The Organiser reserves the right to\nrefuse to accept any registration.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>

2.   \n<\/span><\/span>Your registration is issued for your personal use\nonly.  You may not sell or otherwise transfer your registration to others.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>

3.   \n<\/span><\/span>The Organiser reserves the right at any time to change the\nformat (including, without limitation, from a physical Event to a virtual Event\nand vice versa), content, location, venue, opening hours, duration, dates,\nother timings, participants and\/or any other aspect of the Event, in each case\nwithout liability.  The Organiser reserves the right to withdraw any\nregistration after confirmation without liability.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>

4.   \n<\/span><\/span>Save as expressly set out in these terms and conditions\nand\/or as may be otherwise expressly advised as part of the particular Event\u2019s\nregistration process: (a) your registration for the Event is irrevocable and\nyou have no rights to cancel your registration, and (b) any registration fees\nyou have paid will not be refunded for any reason.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>

5.   \n<\/span><\/span>The Organiser reserves the right to cancel or change the\ndate(s) of the Event at any time and for any reason (whether or not due to\ncauses beyond our reasonable control).  In the event that the date(s) of\nthe Event are changed to new date(s) that are within twelve (12) months of the\noriginally scheduled opening date of the Event, or where the Event is cancelled\nbut is reasonably expected by The Organiser to be held at any time in the next\ncalendar year, then, unless we notify you otherwise, your registration will be\ndeemed to be valid for the Event on the new date(s) or when it is next staged\n(as applicable) in the same way that it would have applied to the originally\nscheduled Event (and no refund of any paid registration fees will be\nissued).  Where all or part of the Event is cancelled and is not\nreasonably expected by The Organiser to be held in the next calendar year, then\nyour registration will no longer be deemed to be valid for the Event (or the\ncancelled portion of the Event, as applicable) and, at your election, any paid\nregistration fees for the Event (or the cancelled portion of the Event, as\napplicable) will be refunded or a credit note issued for the same, and you will\nbe released from paying any further amount of registration fees for the Event\n(or the cancelled portion of the Event, as applicable).  Service charges\nare non-refundable.  Personal arrangements, including, without limitation,\ntravel and accommodation, are at your own risk and The Organiser will not be\nliable for any costs relating to such arrangements, even if the Event is\ncancelled or moved to new date(s).  You acknowledge and agree that the\nprovisions of this paragraph set out your sole remedy in the event of\ncancellation or the changing of the date(s) of the Event and all other\nliability of The Organiser is hereby expressly excluded.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>

6.   \n<\/span><\/span>Our Events, whether physical or virtual, are principally\ndirected at business professionals.  They are generally not intended for\nchildren under the age of eighteen (18).  Without limitation to the\nforegoing, there may be some areas of our Events where it is inappropriate or\nimpractical for children under the age of eighteen (18) to be present (for\nexample, during executive conference workshops) and The Organiser reserves the\nright at any time to restrict entry to such areas accordingly.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>

7.   \n<\/span><\/span>The Organiser reserves the right without liability to\nrefuse admission to, or to eject\/block from, the Event (whether physical or\nvirtual) any person in its absolute discretion, including (without limitation)\nany person who fails to comply with these terms and conditions or who, in the\nopinion of The Organiser, represents a security risk, nuisance or annoyance to\nthe running of the Event.  You agree to comply with all reasonable\ninstructions issued by The Organiser, the venue owners, security personnel\nand\/or management at the Event.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>

8.   \n<\/span><\/span>All unauthorised filming, sound recording and photography\nof the Event, and all unauthorised transmission of audio or visual material at\nthe Event, by you is expressly prohibited.  You agree: (a) to surrender to\nThe Organiser or destroy on demand any material in whatever media recorded in\nviolation of this paragraph, (b) that the copyright and other intellectual\nproperty rights in any such material shall vest in The Organiser\nunconditionally and immediately on the creation of such material, and (c) to\nhold The Organiser and all entities within the Informa Group (as well as any\nemployees or other representatives of the same) harmless against any claims\nmade in respect of such unauthorised activities.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>

9.   \n<\/span><\/span>You consent to \ufb01lming, sound recording and photography at\nthe Event, which may include, without limitation, filming, sound recording and\nphotography featuring your image (the \u201cContent\u201d). You acknowledge and agree\nthat The Organiser is the sole and exclusive owner of all rights in the Content\nand hereby waive any and all: (a) rights in and to such Content, and (b) claims\nthat you may have relating to or arising from the Content and\/or its use. \nWithout limitation, The Organiser shall be permitted to use the Content\nanywhere in the World for promotional and other purposes, without any payment\nor compensation.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>

10.                 \n<\/span><\/span>The personal information that you provide to The Organiser\nwill be held by us on a database and, where we have appropriate\nauthorisation\/justification (which may include, without limitation,\nexpress\/implied consent or legitimate interests), may be shared with other\nentities within the Informa Group and selected third parties internationally\nfor promotional and other purposes.  Your personal information may also be\nshared with government entities and regulatory authorities as required by\nlaw.  At some Events, exhibitors and sponsors may use lead capture\napplications or barcode scanner devices.  If you choose to allow your\nbadge (whether physical or digital) to be scanned by third parties at the\nEvent, we may pass your personal information to such third parties. \nFurther, there may be certain areas of the Event at which your attendance is\nconditional on your personal information being provided to third parties that\nhave sponsored or are managing such areas.  The use that any third parties\nmake of your personal information is outside of The Organiser\u2019 control and, to\nthe extent permitted by applicable law, we do not accept any liability in this\nregard.  For more information about how we may use the personal\ninformation you provide to us please see our privacy policy at: https:\/\/www.beautyifa.com\/privacy-policy\/<\/a><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>

11.                 \n<\/span><\/span>For virtual Events only<\/span><\/u>: (a)\nyou undertake to be responsible for any technical requirements needed to enable\nyou to access the Event website, app or other platform (the \u201cEvent Platform\u201d)\nmade available by The Organiser to facilitate participation in the Event. We do\nnot guarantee that the Event Platform will operate continuously, securely or\nwithout errors or interruption, and we do not accept any liability for its\ntemporary unavailability.  We do not guarantee that the Event Platform\nand\/or any content thereon (including, without limitation, any content\navailable for download) will be free from viruses, infections, Trojan horses,\nworms and\/or any other code that has contaminating or destructive properties. \nYou must not attempt to interfere with the proper working of the Event Platform\n(for example, by attempting to circumvent security or tamper with, hack into or\notherwise disrupt any computer system, server, website, router or any other\ninternet connected device).  You agree to comply with any website terms of\nuse and\/or fair or acceptable use policies indicated on any website on which\nthe Event Platform is hosted, (b) we do not endorse or accept any\nresponsibility for the content, or the use of, any goods or services that may\nbe identified or described on the Event Platform and we shall not be liable for\nany loss or damage caused or alleged to be caused by or in connection with use\nof, or reliance on, any content, goods or services available on or through the\nEvent Platform or any website or other resource referenced therein, (c) The Organiser\nmay issue you with a username and password.  Usernames and passwords are\nconfidential and remain the property of The Organiser at all times and may not\nbe sold, assigned or transferred to any third party without our\npermission.  Your username and password are personal to you.  You\nhereby agree that you will not permit others to use your username or password\nand you will be and remain liable for the acts of any person using your\nusername and password, (d) any posts, messages or other materials, information\nor data you supply or upload to the Event Platform (collectively, \u201cMaterials\u201d)\nwill be considered non-confidential and non-proprietary, and we have the right\nto use, copy, distribute and disclose to third parties any such Materials for\nany purpose.  You hereby waive any moral rights in any Materials to the\nextent permitted by applicable law.  We reserve the right, at our sole\ndiscretion, to edit or remove postings to any message boards on the Event\nPlatform and delete or use electronic methods to block or filter any Materials\nat our discretion, but we do not have any obligation to do so.  You shall\nnot make libellous postings or any postings that are illegal or infringe the\nintellectual property rights of any third party.  The Organiser will not\nbe responsible for monitoring Materials for compliance with law, (e) you may\nuse the Event Platform solely for access to the Event.  Without\nlimitation, you must not (i) download, store, reproduce, transmit, display,\ncopy, distribute, exploit or use the Event Platform and\/or any content thereon\nfor your own commercial gain, (ii) use the Event Platform and\/or any content\nthereon in any manner other than in compliance with law and these terms and\nconditions, (iii) infringe our intellectual property rights or those of any\nthird party in relation to your use of the Event Platform and\/or any content\nthereon, (iv) transmit, or procure the sending of, any unsolicited or\nunauthorised advertising or promotional material or any other form of similar\nsolicitation, and\/or (iv) knowingly transmit, send or upload any data that\ncontains viruses, infections, Trojan horses, worms and\/or any other code that\nhas contaminating or destructive properties, and (f) we are under no obligation\nto oversee, monitor or moderate any interactive service we provide on the Event\nPlatform and, without limitation, we expressly exclude all liability for any\nloss, injury or damage whatsoever arising from the use of any interactive\nservice by any user, whether the service is moderated or not.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>

12.                 \n<\/span><\/span>You expressly assume all risks associated with, resulting\nfrom or arising in connection with your participation in and\/or attendance at\nthe Event. The Organiser does not make any warranty as to the Event in general,\nincluding, without limitation, in relation to: (a) the presence, absence or\nlocation of any exhibitor, sponsor or attendee, (b) the number of exhibitors,\nsponsors or attendees, and\/or (c) the bene\ufb01t or outcome (commercial or\notherwise) that you may achieve as a result of attending the Event.  All\nindemnities, warranties, representations, terms and conditions (whether express\nor implied) except as set out herein and\/or as may be otherwise expressly advised\nas part of the particular Event\u2019s registration process are excluded.  The Organiser\nand all entities within the Informa Group (as well as any employees or other\nrepresentatives of the same) exclude all liability for any loss, injury,\ndisease or damage whatsoever that you may suffer in connection with or arising\nfrom the Event whether direct, indirect, consequential, special, incidental or\npunitive loss, injury or damage (including, without limitation, injury or\ndisease to persons, property damage, theft, loss of profits, loss of business,\nloss of opportunity, loss of goodwill, loss or corruption of data or any other\ntype of economic loss, injury or damage) or otherwise.  For the avoidance\nof doubt, The Organiser shall not incur any liability whatsoever for any\nproducts displayed or sold by any exhibitor or sponsor at the Event.  The\nlimitations and exclusions in this paragraph only apply to the extent permitted\nby applicable law.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>

13.                 \n<\/span><\/span>The rights and remedies of The Organiser are cumulative and\nare not exclusive of any rights and remedies provided by law and may be waived\nonly in writing and specifically. Any delay or failure to exercise any right or\nremedy is not a waiver of the same.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>

14.                 \n<\/span><\/span>The Organiser reserves the right to amend these terms and\nconditions (without notice) from time to time and you will be subject to the\nterms and conditions in force at the time that the Event is staged.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>

15.                 \n<\/span><\/span>In case of any discrepancy between the English and other\nlanguage versions of these terms and conditions, the English shall prevail.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>

DISCLAIMER FOR ACTIVITIES<\/span><\/b><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>

\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n<\/p>

You should consider\ncarefully whether or not you will be able to participate in any activities\noffered as part of the visitor programme.  The Organiser warns that some\nactivities may be physically demanding and\/or carry inherent dangers.  You\nunderstand that some exercise-based activities may be a risk to your physical\nhealth and safety if you do not perform them correctly.  You accept that, if\na visitor programme exists for the Event you are attending, it is entirely your\nresponsibility to decide whether or not participation in any activity offered\nas part of the visitor programme is appropriate to your capabilities, aptitude,\nfitness and health.  If you have any concerns about your capabilities,\naptitude, fitness and\/or health to participate you should consult with (and\nfollow the recommendations of) a medical professional prior to engaging in any\nactivity.  If at any time during any activity you feel unwell or consider\nthat it is unsafe for you to continue, please stop the activity immediately and\nseek appropriate advice.  You also accept that it is entirely your\nresponsibility to observe all health and safety requirements and instructions that\nyou may be given in relation to activities.  If you are participating in\nany activity that is offered virtually for participation in a home or office\nenvironment, you should ensure that your environment is safe, provides adequate\nspace and is free of dangerous or hazardous objects and materials.  The\nOrganiser and all entities within the Informa Group (as well as any employees\nor other representatives of the same) exclude all liability for any loss,\ninjury, disease or damage whatsoever that you may suffer in connection with or\narising from your participation in any activities offered as part of the\nvisitor programme (including, without limitation, any activities held outside\nof, or incidentally to, the main Event that you are attending), whether direct,\nindirect, consequential, special, incidental or punitive loss, injury or damage\n(including, without limitation, injury or disease to persons, property damage,\ntheft, loss of profits, loss of business, loss of opportunity, loss of\ngoodwill, loss or corruption of data or any other type of economic loss, injury\nor damage) or otherwise.  The limitations and exclusions in this paragraph\nonly apply to the extent permitted by applicable law.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n
